This salad has a few steps to it, the chicken needs to marinade for a few hours. The mexi-ranch dressing also needs to refrigerate for a bit as does the pico de gallo. So, I usually prepare all three of them at the same time. Then it is a matter of cooking the chicken and preparing the rest of the salad.
I will admit this salad is a bit of work and planning, but the end result is so delicious and flavorful it is completely worth it.
